William Shakespeare's Macbeth
Experience the dark allure of ambition and fate in New Canaan High School’s 90 minute production of William Shakespeare’s Macbeth, performed March 6 and 7, 2026. This gripping tragedy follows the rise and fall of the Scottish general Macbeth, whose encounter with a trio of witches ignites a ruthless quest for power. Driven by prophecy, Macbeth descends into murder, madness, and tyranny, unraveling his soul and kingdom in the process. With striking visuals, powerful performances, and a fresh take on one of Shakespeare’s most iconic works, this production promises an unforgettable night of drama and intensity. You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown
Join us for a heartwarming and hilarious journey with You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, performed by the talented 9th and 10th grade students of New Canaan High School on March 27 and 28, 2026! Based on the beloved Peanuts comic strip by Charles M. Schulz, this charming musical brings Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, and the whole gang to life through catchy songs, delightful sketches, and everyday adventures filled with humor and heart. Perfect for all ages, this joyful and energetic production showcases the rising stars of NCHS in an unforgettable celebration of friendship, imagination, and the ups and downs of childhood. And the World Goes ‘Round
Don’t miss New Canaan High School’s award-winning theatre program’s final production of the year as it presents The World Goes 'Round, a dazzling celebration of the iconic music of John Kander and Fred Ebb, performed on Friday, May 29 and Saturday, May 30, 2026. This vibrant revue features unforgettable songs from legendary musicals like Chicago, Cabaret, Kiss of the Spider Woman, and more, including showstoppers like “All That Jazz,” “Maybe This Time,” “New York, New York,” and, of course, the stirring title number, “And the World Goes 'Round.” With stunning vocals, dynamic choreography, and a fresh, high-energy staging, this production showcases the exceptional talent and creativity of NCHS’s celebrated student performers.
